I am Tirthan Ryder, and I proudly carry the title of storyteller. Storytelling is not just a passion for me—it’s the very fire that fuels my soul. It brings me a deep sense of joy and purpose, as I believe that through stories, we can unlock new dimensions of life and see the world in ways we never thought possible.
Every story I craft is more than just an escape — it’s an invitation. An invitation to explore the truths of our existence, to find inspiration in our struggles, and to discover the potential to become the best version of ourselves. My story began in humble circumstances. Born into a middle-class family, I followed the path that seemed most natural—pursuing a career in government service after completing my education. It was a stable path, but life had its own lessons to teach me. Every experience I encountered, every person I met, added layers of wisdom that eventually became the foundation of my stories.
It was twenty-four years ago when I first stumbled upon the art of storytelling. At first, I kept my tales close, like hidden treasures, only sharing them in private moments. But everything changed one day when I found myself participating in a government-sponsored story-writing competition. Given a single image and just seven minutes to create something from it, I poured my heart into the words. In just half an hour, my story was born—and it resonated deeply with others. I won first prize in the competition, but more than the victory, it was the realization that I had a voice worth sharing with the world that changed me.
Since then, my stories have been born from the rich tapestry of life itself—the highs and lows, the battles between light and darkness, and the ever-present tension between truth and deception. These are the themes that inspire my writing, and they are what make my stories feel so real. They’re not just fiction; they reflect the raw beauty and complexity of human existence.
When you read my stories, I hope you feel that connection—that spark that reminds you of your own journey. I write in a simple, flowing style, with the intention of speaking directly to the heart of every person who reads my words.
Though many of my stories have been published in the esteemed pages of my department’s magazine, their reach was limited to a small audience. Today, I’ve set my sights on a greater goal—sharing my stories with the world. I want my words to spread far and wide, to reach as many souls as possible, and to bring a little joy, comfort, and hope to those who need it most.
